All about Kevin Jonas






Paul Kevin Jonas II or  Kevin Jonas was born  on November 5, 1987, in Teaneck, New Jersey, to parents Denise, a former sign-language teacher, and Paul Kevin Sr., a former Christian minister and musician. Jonas was raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, and is the oldest of four brothers.
Music was a large part of Jonas's family and upbringing. He taught himself to play guitar at age 12 and grew up singing in church choir. His brother Nick signed a recording contract with Columbia Records as a young boy. However, when Columbia Records heard collaboration songs between Nick and his brothers Joe and Kevin, the label optioned the latter two into Nick's contract.

Joe Jonas was born Joseph Adam Jonas in Casa Grande, Arizona, on August 15, 1989, to parents Denise, a former sign-language teacher, and Paul Kevin Sr., a former Christian minister and musician. Jonas was raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, and is the second of four brothers. Music was a large part of Jonas's family and upbringing. His brother Nick even signed a recording contract with Columbia Records as a young boy.

Jonas noticed how much fun his brother was having as a musician, and at age 12 auditioned for and was cast in Baz Luhrmann's Broadway production of Giacomo Puccini's opera La Bohème. He soon began to collaborate with Nick and older brother Kevin, to great success. The brothers' efforts were noticed by Columbia Records, and subsequently Joe and Kevin were optioned into Nick's contract. The three siblings then created the boy band the Jonas Brothers.

All about Nick Jonas


Singer and actor Nick Jonas was born on September 16, 1992, in Dallas, Texas. He was raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, and is the younger brother of future band mates Kevin and Joe Jonas. All three boys played music together growing up, but it was Nick who was discovered first, singing in a hair salon while his mother got a haircut.

At the young age of 7, Jonas began his singing career on Broadway, appearing as Tiny Tim, opposite Frank Langella, in the Madison Square Garden Production of A Christmas Carol. His Broadway career continued with roles as replacement alternates in Les Miserables and Beauty and the Beastand as the replacement in Annie Get Your Gun with Reba McEntire.

While working on Broadway, Jonas wrote a Christmas song with his father that was discovered by Columbia Records. Jonas was signed to the label as a solo artist in 2004. His musically inclined siblings, Kevin and Joe, co-wrote a few songs with him that eventually led to the formation of their three-brother band, the Jonas Brothers.

Jonas was diagnosed with diabetes as a child and with the help of his brothers, developed the "Change for the Children Foundation." The foundation partners with five different charities and works toward the goal of raising money and awareness for diabetes and other childhood diseases.

Meeting the Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers were an American pop rock band. Formed in 2005, they gained popularity from their appearances on the Disney Channel hey consist of three brothers from WyckoffNew JerseyPaul Kevin Jonas IIJoseph Adam Jonas, and Nicholas Jerry Jonas.

In the summer of 2008, they starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and its sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. They also starred as Kevin, Joe, and Nick Lucas, the band JONAS, in their own Disney Channel series JONAS, which was later re-branded for its second season as Jonas L.A. The show was eventually cancelled after two seasons. The band released four albums: It's About Time (2006), Jonas Brothers (2007), A Little Bit Longer (2008), and Lines, Vines and Trying Times (2009).
